Bob Frank and Friends at Bainbridge Swing Dance

Bob Frank and Friends play live at the Bainbridge Swing Dance on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025. According to The Free Times, Bob "Frank is a first-class guitarist and vocalist." In a recent cd review, Vintage Guitar Magazinesaid, “Frank is a first rate songwriter and a champion guitar player.” Bob has played many different kinds of music including bluegrass, old-timey, swing, rock, reggae and Caribbean, but is known these days as an expert in a wide variety of blues styles.

Between 1995 and 2019 Bob served as guitarist, vocalist, arranger, and producer for the eight-piece band Blue Lunch. Under Bob’s leadership the band recorded and released eight highly acclaimed cd recordings. He is also one of the founders of the Cleveland Blues Society. He is one of the original board members of that organization and still serves as the director of the educational, historical, and hall of fame committees. A different live band performs at the Bainbridge Swing Dance the first Saturday of every month at Family Life Center (16349 Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023). Doors open at 7:30pm. Lesson (included with admission) at 8pm. Dance and live music 9-11pm.

$10 per child (12 years and under)

$15 per person (13+ years)

$40 per family (up to 2 parents and minor children in same household)
